the hotel is near the train station so it was easy to find! the staff were really helpful, especially with late check-in. i got a free car parking space, so that was a bonus!
the room could have used a bit more soundproofing.

The breakfast had quality food and a good price. Paul, the bar man, provided great entertainment. The prices at the bar were reasonable too.. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and included tea and coffee making facilities.
My room was small for a double. There was no wardrobe in the room, inconvenient. The windows rattled and banged when it was windy.

the location was excellent. i loved how clean and well-presented everything was. the staff are all genuinely nice and accommodating.
the internet connection wasn't perfect, but it didn't detract too much from my experience.

Free parking was definitely a plus. One less thing to pay for on this trip.
The shower was lukewarm at best. I tried adjusting it, but it barely made a difference. washing the travel grime off was like standing under a leaky faucet. it was hardly the invigorating wake-up i needed.

the location was excellent, just a short walk to shops. the hotel itself was clean. staff was very friendly and accommodating, i felt safe.
i never managed a hot shower, despite turning it up to max, the water pressure was fine, but made washing a bit more difficult.

the room had a large tv with alexa. netflix and youtube were available. the rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and much of it seemed recently refurbished, i noticed new furniture and carpets.

the staff were pretty good too ensure i was happy with everything. the bathrooms were always well stocked with toiletries and were clean. the rooms were very well presented, and i appreciated the attention to detail.
